Review on Sony BDP S6500 Upgraded Multi Region Blu Ray by Christopher Jackson

Very easy installation - just plug in the connector and HDMI cable (included). Just follow the quick guide and you'll be up and running in no time. I went straight to the setup button and changed all the settings I needed and basically just pressed the few buttons needed to connect the device to my wireless network, which worked great. The only problem I had was getting audio through my stereo and it had nothing to do with the Sony turntable but rather my old stereo receiver that didn't have HDMI jacks. I used my own digital cable and plugged it into the Sony unit and once I played around with the stereo receiver settings to find the correct connector for the cable everything worked fine. Well worth the price - UK DVDs play by simply inserting them into the tray. I haven't tried other regions for Blu-ray discs, but I don't see any reason why they don't work.
