Review on Benro B2 Double Action Ballhead by April Medellin

I have a travel tripod that I like but I have never been happy with the ball head that comes with it. After looking at LOTS of ball heads I settled on the Benro B2 and am very happy with it. It's not light, but I really like the weight. I really LOVE the plate locking mechanism that requires you to pull the locking nut outward to loosen it just enough to release the plate. This is a feature lacking on most other Arca Swiss platter systems and I need it because sometimes I loosen the platter knob in the dark and think I'm adjusting the pan knob. a feature I don't use often. The ball holds my heaviest rig securely in place and doesn't budge. Panning is smooth, there is no unnecessary play. I recommend it.
