To correct the previous review, it is not plastic but aluminum which is great for oil drain plugs and will not rust. Bought it for a Yamaha Grizzly 700 although not designed for this Yamaha vehicle it will fit many other purposes as long as the dimensions match, Yamaha uses the same dimensions for many bikes. This was a great replacement for a diff oil plug on a Yamaha Grizzly 700, the original is really short, a few changes, a few threads, it quickly ripped the threads in the hole, but the hole is much longer with the threads all the der Going through that longer screw solved the problem, the longer screw = better hold/better seal. Yamaha failed in this aspect.
