The quality is worse than I have ever seen, a complete disappointment

We always used avent ultra air pacifiers, I knew that the child would take it, I ordered pacifiers from 6 months. I boiled it and realized that the smell of pacifiers, namely rubber, is disgusting. Smells like medicine. The pacifiers lay for a couple of days, the smell seems to have disappeared, after contact with water, the smell appears again and again. I don't know what it is and I'm facing it for the first time. I plan to return the pacifiers, as I will not use and poison the child.
