Review on 🔒 Bolt Hood Lock for 2018 & Newer Jeep Wrangler JL - 7032303 by Doug Bundy

Overall this is a good product and I recommend it if you want a locking hood for your jeep. This works with both Gladiator JT and Wrangler JL. On my Gladiator, the replacement plastic center grille that Bolt supplied did not fit the left and right grille plates. Also, my Gladiator was outfitted with a Trailcam (front camera) that takes up as much space as installing a Bolt hood latch. I solved both of those problems by leaving the original factory center grille in place, moving the Trailcam camera a few inches to the left grille, and trimming both grilles slightly to make everything fit. After that, the assembly of the hood lock is very easy and only takes a few minutes. I leave mine unlocked most of the time, but I like knowing I can lock the hood at any time. Since it opens with a factory key and is a simple twist lever, the dealer can't claim I screwed up anything (other than the plastic grille).
