Some highlights: Not smelly at all! Contains no vinyl/plasticizer! Attaches to headrests with snap buckles on adjustable loops around headrests. The case is rubberized on the underside. Full velcro closure on top. The cover is rigid enough to stay in place once put on. The cover is wide enough to cover the edges of the seats, so the seats are well protected from saliva or vomit from the window. Quality construction at an excellent price. EDIT Fabric ripped after a few short rides on our 55lb Irish Setter - not as durable as advertised. My guess is that the stress on the claws and paws combined with the weak tissues will result in an early death. Perhaps the lack of a plasticizer smell caused the polyester/vinyl fabric to overbake somewhere in the warehouse? No problem Returns within 30 days.
