I bought this because I had a fault with my Comcast Xfinity digital cable. He said I had a "Low Signal" error and was having trouble connecting to the service and the other boxes wouldn't connect either. I tried moving the boxes to other rooms but to no avail so I bought an Arris Drop amp. I chose Arris based on size and reviews, I was not disappointed. I removed the 4-way splitter, put the Arris in place, and connected the power to the house. I put the Arris in a weatherproof PVC box outside of the house to keep it from getting wet. I turned it on and Viola! It worked! My cable TV is perfect now! Very happy with the quality and ease of installation. I highly recommend this drip amp.
