My puppy is smaller than this collar. When he was the right size, most of the collar was folded in half and he managed to get a piece in his mouth. There should be a stripe, which you often see on adjustable wallet straps, to hold the two layers together. Otherwise, I'm thrilled and will continue to use the leash. Still a worthwhile purchase for the price.
