Review on Astromania 1 25 Plossl Telescope Eyepiece by Douglas Berry

I bought this mount to get a better view of Venus in the evening and it works well but at this high magnification the image quickly goes out of range. Combine this with Barlow's 2x magnification and you can simply watch as the image zooms into the field of view. I don't have a complex setup but with a better setup like an equatorial mount this thing would be even better. To give you an idea, I use a desktop Dobsionian that I removed from the mount and attached to a decent tripod. It takes time to queue and viewing time is very limited. Works well for lower magnification and lunar viewing, but not for high magnification.
