I bought these lamps to have some light in my bedroom so that the brightness would not make it difficult to fall asleep. These lamps have a very long "cord" which allowed me to walk behind the dresser and not waste any "light". I routed them up the corner where the walls meet and pressed a piece of putty to hold them in place so they didn't poke holes in the walls. The lights have an ideal brightness that is almost invisible on the putty. It's more like a shadow, and you use it so little. The lights are so light they worked perfectly. I led them through where the wall meets the ceiling, to the other corner, and down. They won't hang or fall because they're incredibly light! I'm ordering another set to decorate the room. They have the perfect amount of light and look so amazing! Not like some crappy Christmas lights. I can't imagine how amazing they are!
