Okay, I'm laughing. Many of the electronics reviews you see online are filled with complaints about customer service. The reason I have to laugh is because I think this is more a symptom of our self-service society than any particular company's customer service. I mean I had a problem with an item I ordered from Home Depot and the hospital treating my son lost his blood samples and then lied about it. But I digress. This product was easy to set up and worked flawlessly for seven months. I have had several Netgear products in the past and have never had a problem. I use encryption and MAC address filtering and both are easy to configure from the browser interface. The only thing I complain about is the WPA support. This particular access point doesn't support it, and according to the Netgear website, it never will. "V2" will be, but not this model. When I first bought it, I was under the impression that 802.11g and WPA are synonymous. Obviously not. This access point is 802.11g compliant but does not support WPA. If it matters to you, get V2.
