Review on π‘οΈ Heat Probe or Gauge WB20T10025 by General Electric by Edgar Gomez
Do not pull the probe by the wire!
Before I read the manual that came with my new GE Profile dual-fuel range, I pulled the (extremely hot) probe on the cable. After 6 months of fairly constant use, the probe only worked sporadically. Oops, the instructions make it very clear that the dipstick must always be removed by the plastic handle at the very end. Lesson learned. Now it works great.
