Lesson learned. Cheaper is not an option.
This is the second plastic basket adjuster I've bought for my Kitchenaid DW. The first was easy. But now I'm swapping out the other side, so I chose a cheaper part. Big mistake. The part number is correct and the part looks exactly like the one I'm trying to replace (minus the damn broken part) but it just doesn't fit. I'm sending it back and ordering a more expensive version (which I know really fits).
