Review on Dorman 931 626 Door Actuator Motor by Paul Tucker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works, doesn't seem to last as long as OEM

Works reasonably well. It's very difficult to get to, easier if you unscrew the window frame. There is a servo arm, metal on the OEM and nylon on this one. I'm not sure how well this will hold up, but for now it's working. It's sad you have to buy a $70 part when the only thing wrong with them is a flat spot on a nylon gear that's in a welded plastic part (I know I cut mine) . Good luck finding equipment. Brass would last forever. Maybe a 3D printed part would work, but I don't have time to make it. Oh, it comes with minimal lube on the latch - feel free to lube it up after you've installed it. I used lithium spray grease on the window rail and axle grease on the latch mechanism.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Long time
