I started using Moka coffee pots for making coffee a few years ago and for a while I used the Bialetti Moka aluminum 9 cup coffee pot and loved it until I found out that aluminum does not go well for tableware. I did a little research and based on the reviews I bought a 10 cup kitty because it's made of stainless steel. I've had mine for almost 2 years and use it every day. Honestly, this is the best way to brew coffee I've found. I worked in a coffee shop for 8 years and developed a taste for very strong coffee which is a treat. I use freshly ground dark roast coffee, ground with a Capresso grinder set on medium, lightly fill the funnel, fill the base just below the valve with hot tap water and set it to medium heat and it only takes a few minutes. . I'm always happy with the results. That makes 10 1 ounce cups or in my case 1 large cup and I always recommend this particular moka pot to people I deal with. With little maintenance and the occasional replacement of seals and screens, it should last a long time. I only wish they had a 12 or 14 cup version! There are some good tutorials on youtube on how to use them and once I knew how to use the moka pan I was ready to go and never look back.
