Good coffee pot for kitchen and dining room

Really like this espresso pot, great quality, great fit and finish. Steam will still come out of the coffee pots if you don't really tighten the top and bottom. I think the company should offer a food grade silicone liner for this coffee pot. The reason is that I never have a smaller jug with a silicone coffin on it Leaks in general, that's the only problem I have with this pot. Please see if you can supply this type of spacers for all the pots you sell.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are nuances

The base is not rustproof, there is rust on the inside of the rim.

I am very upset that this product has changed from the previous one. I hope the manufacturer sees this and takes action. I have a wonderful Bialetti Musa from 9 years ago. My husband wanted a bigger one so we bought the biggest kitten. It just arrived and the steel base is definitely not entirely rustproof. My husband cleaned it before using it and found that it was rusted on the inside of the inside of the main rim. Please Bialetti, please bring back the original quality. We really want to…

Looks great, doesn't last.

After two years, no matter what we tried, the coffee became very bitter. Gaskets replaced, thoroughly cleaned, preheated, nothing works. We regularly use two other moka pots, an aluminum 12-cup Bialetti that we've had for over five years and a 6-cup Ikea stainless steel moka that we've owned for about four years. Years. Absolutely no problems with any of these pans and I've never had a problem with any other pan I've owned or used. BTW, although I bought this stainless steel moka partly because

A really great way to make coffee!

I started using Moka coffee pots for making coffee a few years ago and for a while I used the Bialetti Moka aluminum 9 cup coffee pot and loved it until I found out that aluminum does not go well for tableware. I did a little research and based on the reviews I bought a 10 cup kitty because it's made of stainless steel. I've had mine for almost 2 years and use it every day. Honestly, this is the best way to brew coffee I've found. I worked in a coffee shop for 8 years and developed a taste for…

I'm so in love with this pot

I'm so in love with this pot! We've had a $2,000 Delonghi automatic espresso machine for about 10 years. We are used to espresso and can no longer drink filter coffee. I bought this pot for a multi-week trip so we don't have to buy Starbucks and the like for each person every day. The best purchase I've ever made for a coffee pot. We love how rich and thick it makes the coffee. I guess I can't call it espresso as the correct term for what it does is moka which is pretty close to real espresso…
