I bought this set because I have a large assortment of drill bits and a complete tap and die set. BUT the tap sizes used to tap a hole after you have drilled it are NOT standard sizes. You use a custom-sized pitch number to differentiate the threads from the threads of the new thread you are installing so the new thread doesn't rotate with the bolts. After two new threaded inserts got stuck in the wrong threaded holes, I figured out why. I ended up buying an entire kit that included drill bits, taps, threads, and installation tools. So if you don't already have the required set of M4, M5, M6, M8 etc taps you will need a kit. This is for those who have the kit but have used up all the thread inserts.
