Stopped working almost immediately

I used it for the first time (completely charged) about 30 min into using it, the fan turned off. It would turn back on for about a second…then shut off again. I tried recharging it and using it again about a week later and it did the exact same thing. Maybe the battery is defective? I’m unable to return it bc my 30 day return window just ended…so I’m definitely disappointed.
