Review on Sandisk Extreme Pro Flash Drive by Michal Kucharski ᠌

After reading the reviews before buying, I bought this flash drive. I liked everything about her right away. And on the advice of the "wise men" who have already purchased and written comments here, I formatted it immediately to NTFS. I installed the programs for the secret that go to it, transferred my most secret files there, and on top I also password-protected the curious with Bitlocker. Everything worked exactly until the third copy. They stopped seeing computers (tested on several machines, our system administrator could not do anything). What utilities were not installed - the flash drive hangs the system immediately. It is not possible to format, read, or unlock Bitlocker. Visible only in the Device Manager panel and the Extract panel. I tried to ate the drivers and configuration, it shows it in my computers and the device manager panel and even in the computer's disks, but as empty. And as soon as you click on it to view or format it, it immediately hangs the system. Contacted SunDisk for warranty. Answered already from Athens. They readily agreed to exchange for a new flash drive. BUT! 1. We need passport data + SNILS (allegedly the flash drive comes from the Czech Republic, we need data for the customs declaration, because it will come immediately to my name, and the courier will bring it to me at any address. 2. The flash drive will come WITHOUT factory packaging. And what is there it will be stuffed in it, what kind of spyware - God knows. To be honest, it alerted me. Because I give away a flash drive with some kind of personal secret data already on it, and I will get a pig in a poke. Who is not afraid - go for it. It turns out that it’s a pity for a flash drive with such characteristics, and I can’t return it under warranty, and I can’t return the money. A total disappointment. Is it really difficult for developers, knowing about this problem, to make a normal recovery utility, at least for those who have already purchased this flash drive? Their native Rescue Pro does not even read the flash drive.
