Needs a lot of your information to activate
I got this for a 12-year-old kid to bring to school. With all this school violence across the country, I insisted that my kid must have a phone with her when in school. I thought this will be good, but, in order to activate the sim, you need to provide your name, full address, working phone number, verifiable email address, bank-issued credit card, and so on. Compared to applying for a mortgage, the only thing they did not ask for is my income tax return and financial statement. Definitely not for a child when you want to keep his/her information confidential.
