Provides a nice, long, sharp point on everything I've sharpened (Prismacolor Premier, FC Polychromos, all Graphite - see photo). You remove the top cap, they fit perfectly in the pencil slot and the sharpener works as it should - see 2nd photo). It's worth noting that I haven't had a problem with refracting prisms since using this, which is no small feat. Combine that with the time saved instead of manually sharpening all the time, and those two points alone made it $20 worth. It's great to have a rechargeable sharpener. Also, auto-stop works, but in my opinion it will stop if sharpened too much. It's not worth the denial though, just my preference, and it's easy enough to pull your pencil out to check after a few seconds. All in all, I highly recommend this little gem.
