Review on Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner: Unleash Full Potential with iOS & Android, Torque & OBD Fusion Support by Matt Charlton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with iOS 10 and 11 (iPhone 7+ etc)

Update: It's been about a year and a half and two Jeeps (currently a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon) and many iOS updates later. and everything works like on the first day. Not only would I buy it again, I bought it for my boyfriend. This is what you need if you are using an iOS device. My other OBDII dongle couldn't communicate with my iPhone so I tried it. I couldn't find any reviews that specifically mentioned this iOS-powered device, probably because the review section also includes reviews of an Android-only device. The iPad 9.7 (2017) also runs iOS 11.0. The 3rd generation iPad runs iOS 9.3.5. Use OBD Fusion from the App Store. Connect Veepeak to the OBDII socket. Start the car to connect via the Bluetooth menu item in the settings. Just go straight to the app (OBD Fusion in my case), select Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) as the communication protocol, then click connect. Finally, go to the control panel and enjoy the vehicle information displayed.
