I bought two of these phones to replace my wife's LG Phoenix 3 phones which were purchased through Mint Mobile a year and a half ago. Phoenix 3 is ok if you don't want to use a lot of apps due to storage limitations and the speeds were acceptable but web browsing was a little slow and they also don't support Wi-Fi calling on the Mint network. The Cubot X19 specs are fantastic for what you pay, with over 3x the onboard storage, 2GB more RAM and 4 cores more processing power compared to the Phoenix 3. Not to mention a nice clean install of Android Pie 9 with no traces of additional malware. . An added bonus is that Wi-Fi calling and texting work immediately after setting up a Mint carrier network. The X19 is very responsive and fast, almost the same as my working iPhone 6s device, and the X19 screen is great. If you're moving to Pie from a previous version of Android, you'll have to learn a bit, but I pretty much got the hang of it in a day or two. The X19 comes with a transparent silicone case that is comfortable to the touch and helps prevent trivial bumps and scratches on the back of the case. If you abuse your phones, you need to look for a more durable case and screen protector. So far, battery life has been well above average with battery savers enabled. I get almost 3 days of moderate use on a single charge. If, like me, you want to get the most out of an unlocked GSM phone, the Cubot X19 is definitely hard to beat for hardware features, speed, compatibility, clean Android install, and no bloatware. As soon as a replacement is due, I'll definitely take another look at what Cubot has to offer.
