For the price I don't think you will find anything more durable and secure for carrying bikes on your motorhome! As an engineer, I have great faith in the design of the struts and how they distribute weight across the relatively thin steel RV bumpers. 2 bicycles fit very well in it. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the vertical rack for mounting your bikes feels incomplete. It's just a pole with a small hole in the top. Not only does it prevent you from snagging, it rubs (at least on my bikes) against the frame of the bike. It would be nice if there was some sort of shock absorbing mount to allow for more mounting options and without damaging the bikes. I don't expect any problems after a few lifts, but I'll let you know if this is the case.
