Quick Products Bumper Bracket

Since I only have a 2 1/2" bumper, I had to do some "sworn rigging" to make this work. However, when I installed the bracket on the RV bumper, it proved proving to be very durable. Since each individual rack only has to support 30 pounds, I was able to support my 160 pound body with ease! Don't expect this to fit on a bumper smaller than 4" unless Willing to make some modifications and use some "Yanke ingenuity” to make it work. I've seen identical bumper mounts for $30, double the price I…

Works well and appears solid but has major flaws

The product was fairly easy to install but I had trouble getting one of the parts through the pre-drilled holes. The finish, strength and finish of the product was surprisingly good, especially for a product made in China. Most bicycle models have different wheel-to-wheel sizes. This bike carrier can only be configured for ONE SIZE bikes, so both bikes must be the same size (front hub center to rear hub center). Secondly, a rack with a hole is completely unsuitable for attaching a bicycle to…

The most reliable option I've seen for this price!

For the price I don't think you will find anything more durable and secure for carrying bikes on your motorhome! As an engineer, I have great faith in the design of the struts and how they distribute weight across the relatively thin steel RV bumpers. 2 bicycles fit very well in it. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the vertical rack for mounting your bikes feels incomplete. It's just a pole with a small hole in the top. Not only does it prevent you from snagging, it rubs (at least on my

A great option for more expensive versions of wheeled trailers.

Motorhome trailer for transporting two bicycles. Especially considering the cost. However, there is a trade-off here. More expensive versions with a single bar that can hold multiple bikes can carry more weight and take up less bumper space. This is one of their shortcomings. If a roof ladder is attached to the rear bumper, you cannot attach the spare tire to the rear bumper. However, single beam bike racks transfer all the weight to one point on the bumper, which puts a lot of strain on the…

Pros
  • Not suitable for bikes with thick tires or bikes with wheels over 29 inches. Slotted tire bays keep each bike secure, while a convenient stabilizing post provides an anchor to support and secure bikes.
