Review on ๐ŸŽง UClear Amp Go2 Bluetooth Communication Device by Jeff Payne

good sound but everything else is pretty bad

Let's start with the big control module and battery. It's big and sticks out quite a bit from the helmet. It snags on my jacket when I turn my head left and down, like checking the trail next to me. Mounting it higher on the helmet creates an odd whistle at speed on that side. The module is just very thick, a little thinner is better. Another problem are the buttons. There's nothing you can feel through the gloves to tell you which button you're pressing. They're small (which is funny considering how big the module is) and you have to push them in quite a bit. With gloves it is almost impossible. they are also very illogical. Press the up or down button to skip a track, or hold for a moment to adjust the volume. So if you want to increase the volume, press the up button and after skipping a track, the volume increases, then you need to press the down button to go back to the track you want. it's all a pain in the ass. On the plus side, the sound is pretty good and the battery life is pretty good too. I just wish they had a better module interface.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
