These are perfect for modern 4x4s (quoted as we all know they are NOT 4x4 inches). I previously bought some of these in HD which were too big but they fit PERFECTLY! The plastic is very thick so they will stand the test of time. I had to use a sled to put my 4x4 in the mounts so the top got a bit damaged and I was worried about future water issues. One of these with a small amount of silicone and the problem is solved! I like them better than some of the others that you attach with a nail or screw as you can leak every time you have a hole. The fact that they are durable avoids any possible failure. It is great.
