Okay, when you use the term soil I'm not quite sure what you mean. Those are just stones. My quail literally choked. So I put them in my expensive food processor and it literally burned out the motor trying to grind up those giant rocks! I will never buy them again, I'm so pissed. I can't even give them to my adult chickens.
