Price a bit overpriced here on Amazon but unless you live near a great ski shop or there are stores like Reliable Racing or Artek One This steel scraper - great choice. I use it to remove old wax and dirt - a light pass before edging or waxing, and I use it to apply Ptex. There's nothing wrong with that - give it a try if you need a steel scraper.
