They are awesome and way better than plastic scrapers

They are awesome and way better than plastic scrapers. Gets the job done quickly and easily. It takes a bit more precision to avoid scratching the board, but is light years ahead of IMO plastic scrapers.

almost anything can be scraped off a wall or floor

This product was meant to scrape wax off skis or snowboards but I used it to remove chewing gum from a restaurant floor. works very well and I can see it will last a long time. You can scrape just about anything off a wall or floor except wax.

Simple and light steel scraper

Price a bit overpriced here on Amazon but unless you live near a great ski shop or there are stores like Reliable Racing or Artek One This steel scraper - great choice. I use it to remove old wax and dirt - a light pass before edging or waxing, and I use it to apply Ptex. There's nothing wrong with that - give it a try if you need a steel scraper.
