I'm an older - well, fairly old - guy who does 20-25 miles 3 or 4 days a week. Raleigh hybrid bike, mostly paved bike paths and roads, but also some off-road trails. I had irritation in my lower body and pain in my sit bones. I tried wide soft seats but they increased irritation and caused moisture build-up. I've tried narrow seats and they solved the chafing and sweating problem but caused numbness. Padded in all the right places, this seat is wide enough to provide support. I really like the ventilation in the center which keeps me dry and cool and also serves to reduce pressure on parts you don't want pressure on. ;-) However, it will take some time to get used to and adapt to the position. At first I felt like I was rocking back and forth on the padding and shifting my weight forward, but now that I've fiddled with the settings it's almost perfect. I've only done a number of short rides to adjust positioning and one 10 mile ride so far. As my title says, it's almost perfect. Will post an update in a few miles.
