Easy to set up and use. Water level easy to see and control. Brew strength settings appear (to my tastebuds) to work as stated.Coffee pot lid isn't the easiests to set in place but, once it's set (it's only an extra 1-3 seconds to set right) I know the lid will stay in place SO absolutely NOT an issue.I read (I believe in a scientific journal article) that paper filters help to remove certain coffee bean substances that can be detrimental, so I bought this to move from using a wire basket to a basket with a filter. The filters have not hindered the flavor.
