First of all this tumbler was sent to me free of charge for review so keep that in mind. Watch my video review for my first thoughts on the glass. Overall: classy design, understated logo (why generic brands insist on putting their nameless names on things I have no idea. You would be proud to wear this logo as its design is very sophisticated and I dare say that it looks high quality). It doesn't leak. and it comes with some bonus goodies: 2 different lids, a metal straw and a straw cleaner. It also keeps cold things cold and hot things warm. I'm not sure what else to expect from a glass under $20 but let's just say if a relative asked for a glass for Christmas etc I wouldn't hesitate for a second in buying them one. The packaging is also well designed. Overall a good buy. Additional Thoughts: I noticed that some reviewers mention that the lid is too tight. My lid wasn't too tight: twist and pull and it pops right off. It's firm enough that nothing spills when it's upside down, which is a nice feature when the contents inside are simmering. I also saw another complaint that the cup lid hinge wasn't perfectly positioned. This may be related to the discount, but while the flip cover could probably be better positioned, I didn't really find it a problem. I haven't noticed this affecting my ability to drink, and I have a medium to large sized sniffer (for what it's worth).
