If you hold the skittle with two thumbs, it will play normally. This is not an amplifier or wiring issue.
I ordered a speaker set for my boat. One died instantly. I sent a speaker back to the manufacturer. He sent me another one that died within a few days. If you hold the skittle with two thumbs, it will play normally. This is not a problem with the amp or wiring, I retested at my home on a regular radio, it failed. I have a block that is playing well. So, the speaker is missing for another year. I just bought a product from another manufacturer.
