FOB didn't work on my 2009 C6 Corvette. The circuit board did not match the buttons. This is because the circuit board on my old FOB has an angled cut (manufacturer cuts at an angle) which is part of the alignment with the original rubber pad. The new rubber pad didn't hold my board in the right position. Also the metal contacts of the battery compartment didn't work well, the battery kept falling out. On my original FOB, the metal contacts not only serve to deliver battery voltage to the board, but also to hold the battery in the well. I couldn't use my original key either, it didn't lock in the new FOB, the uncut key that came with the new FOB shell fitted perfectly. I won't worry about getting my $16 back, the cost of a life lesson. Buy genuine GM OEM FOB to replace your broken one.
