My 2008 Corvette keychain is finally fried. I was starting to buy a new key fob when I came across this replacement case which fell apart. My inner workings were fine. Everything fit well and fitted almost perfectly. The only thing that needed to be adjusted was the Corvette logo from the old keychain. Almost perfect solutions.

I couldn't make it. Also, I haven't seen a way to transfer the internal electronics associated with the glove box failover system. I couldn't find any manuals for this particular model so I gave up, sent it back and bought an expensive OEM part. Too bad that seems like a good option but didn't work for me.

I was looking for the cheapest way to replace a broken case on my remote because the dealer wanted $140. I bought this and was able to get the circuit board out of the broken one and put it in this new case. With some small adjustments I was able to get it working. I even managed to peel off the Corvette logo and stick it on the new body. looks perfect Then I got a new $3 million car key from a local key store. Very happy with this product.

I've seen a lot of reviews saying it doesn't fit C6. There is a notch in the corner for alignment, thin and the key doesn't fit. Thought I should give it a try until I spent $125-170. For me it was worth the risk. I haven't experienced any of that. It took some time to align the board. I had to adjust the positive battery clamp. In the end it works quite well. It is lower quality than OEM and there is no logo. But for a backup key, it's fine. Only 3 stars for bad plastic.

Good quality for the price but I didn't like that the case size is bigger than the original and has something to do with how everything fits in ie The buttons worked but my '08 Corvette said "key fob not recognized" and wouldn't start. I really just wanted the buttons to look better, but since the cases aren't the same, swapping parts between cases isn't an easy task. And no logo? I ordered this to replace the FOB body for my 2013 Corvette. My FOB works fine, it just has a crack in the case so this should have been the perfect fix. It was very easy to change PCB and battery, but it does NOT work after FOB assembly with new case. I put everything back together in my old FOB case and everything works fine. I guess I have to live with a crack in my old one. Don't waste your time on FOB cases like me, it will NOT work.

FOB didn't work on my 2009 C6 Corvette. The circuit board did not match the buttons. This is because the circuit board on my old FOB has an angled cut (manufacturer cuts at an angle) which is part of the alignment with the original rubber pad. The new rubber pad didn't hold my board in the right position. Also the metal contacts of the battery compartment didn't work well, the battery kept falling out. My fobs have four buttons (no remote start) and these cases fit great, I SAVED TWO HUNDRED BUX ON THE FOB! Cadillac only sells the whole fob, requires programming, small fortune. I had two *WORKING* keychains, only their fragile plastic cases broke and fell apart. With these Beefunny cases, I could just take the "guts" of my old broken keychains and slip those electronic guts into the new cases, including the mechanical keys for each. This FOB is slightly longer than the standard 2011 Chevrolet Corvette FOB (see photo). I only mention this because it would be nice to just swap out the front half (frame) of the fob, but that's not an option. You can replace the physical key and avoid having to create a new key. I was able to use pliers on the back of my original FOB to deform the back of my old FOB just enough to remove the Corvette badge without damaging it.
