One time use in keyed padlocks

Very disappointed. I finally managed to use the locks when I was on a road trip this weekend and the bottom of the lock broke off. You can still use the lock as only the bottom of the case has come loose, but now it looks awful. I wouldn't use it like that. In addition, the key must be in the lock and turned to a certain position for the lock to close. Then you have to turn the key to lock it! My other locks closed conveniently without a key.
