I have been looking for a backpack/purse for a while. I have used backpacks as wallets for many years before they were recognized as wallets and intended for everyday use. This item fits everything you need in a backpack and handbag in one. Two large compartments provide enough space for everything you need. in front are my journals and the book I'm reading. The second has smaller inner zippered compartments for various items such as lip balms, band-aids, cough drops, wallet, etc., as well as storage space for larger items. There is also a side pocket that fits my bus pass perfectly and another in front for sunglasses and reading glasses. Love the two side water bottle pockets and the reusable shopping bags. The material is durable, stands up to everyday use and the zippers work well, don't stick. The straps are easily adjustable so the backpack lies flat on your back in a comfortable position, whether you use both straps or just throw one strap over one side. I don't find this bag too big, but big enough to hold everything I need for the day.
