It's cheap, it always works, and I've taken all my old "dumb" flashes that weren't smart enough to communicate with modern electronic triggers and turned them into very docile and handy remote controlled flashes transformed. Will buy a few more of these. The only downside I could find is that the base shoe is a bit small and doesn't fit snugly when inserted into a flash holder, but it's also threaded so it works great on a light stand. The flash stays on these little plastic flash stands but they tend to slide out when you press them hard. and with a really strong lightning bolt, it's not so cool when the lightning bolt falls down and hits the ground! This has only happened once, and luckily lightning struck the couch so no damage was done, but it's something you might want to fix. I did the upper the rustic way (to my shame) by wrapping a piece of tape around the bottom shoe, so they're now securely locked into the retainers! Overall they are great and I will be buying two more - there are never too many lighting options! thanks to whom they are now securely fastened in the holders!
