Hard material, but it smells, and the hammer is absolutely useless

I received this item a few days before it was ready to be bottled and had a strong chemical odor like fuel. I soaked it for a few days hoping the smell would dissipate when I needed it, by then the smell was mostly gone. I had regular wine bottles so one of the pieces fit perfectly in the neck of the bottle, I had a different style bottle, a moonshine type jug which none of the pieces fit. When it came time to bottle, I found I had to pop the cork and spray a piece onto the bottle to allow the cork to slide easily. I also realized that the hammer was completely useless. It didn't weigh enough, or just trying to put the cork in didn't work, I had to keep the bottle on my knees on the floor to keep it stable enough that I could put my weight on the cork to push it in. Worked decently enough, but after a few dozen bottles my hands felt a little damp, it would be better if the part that "sticks" was a little wider for a better grip when you press the cork. Also, instead of a hammer, this product should come with something to keep the bottle steady while capping. What I really liked about this product is that it leaves almost no marks on the cork after filling. I've tried other cappers and they always leave uneven marks on the cork.

Pros
  • โค How to use: Put the cork through the white two-dimensional cap, then tap the awl with a rubber mallet.
