Unfortunately I sent it back right away. I was excited for the promise of this multi-tool, but upon opening and unboxing, the chrome was smudged with fingerprints and had a "dirty" feel. But okay, I have a soft cloth so I can wipe the fingerprints, that's okay. Next I tried turning the central screw mechanism which rotates the rod which allows the screw or nut to be fixed in place so they can then be removed. But I found the carving to be rough rather than feel like a quality and precise tool as I expected. It may work well for you, but I've decided to return it. I am sorry.
