Review on My Pet Command Citronella Sensitivity by Mariah Garrett

Facilitates dog training

I have two dogs that I have tried to train (mostly not to bark). I've tried it myself when they were puppies under 6 months old without much success. When they were old enough for these collars to be safe (6 months old) I had to try. I bought this kit as well as an extra collar. The remote control that comes with this collar can also be used with a second collar that can be purchased separately for less than the entire set. I expected results, what I didn't expect was that it would work so quickly. The collar is not too big and comfortable for my dog. I use a citronella spray (the spray has to be bought separately, by the way). First, I did 15-minute workouts with the remote control. When my dog barked, I made a beep and then a light spray. The first few times I sprayed it you could tell he didn't like it. What surprised me was that after a few days of training I didn't need to use the spray at all. When my dog heard a beep from the collar, he would stop immediately because he knew the spray was coming. There's also an auto bark feature, which is handy for keeping your dog under control when you're not around to use the remote control. I have no regrets, it's a great training tool. I've attached a video and some pictures that might help.

Pros
  • DOUBLE FUNCTION. Use the remote control to safely and species-appropriately train your dog with short and long sprays and tone correction. Set the collar to automatic anti-bark mode with advanced bark detection mode with adjustable sensitivity level and the collar will automatically detect your dog's bark with sound and spray adjustment. Make sure your dog is still behaving properly when you're not at home!
Cons
