Review on Dorman 918 217 Transmission Oil Cooler by Mark Adlesh

Superior Transmission Oil Cooler. Received it very quickly and installed it at my local radiator shop. Installation took about an hour by a person with skills and tools. I'm just towing my Hyundai Santa Fe and wanted to ensure that the transmission was adequately cooled. The cooler shop owner was impressed with this Dorman 918-217 cooler and said it was a perfect fit and indistinguishable from the factory installed transmission cooler. I'm happy with its performance and am confident it will extend the life of the gearbox as it warms up. The Florida summer heat can be harsh on cars, and this transmission cooler will do the trick. Please note that this unit is supplied as a cooler only - no connection lines or other necessary parts are included and you will need to purchase these items separately. It's easier to get it to a store that has everything you need, and it costs around $125 to install. It's worth it. Highly recommended
