Overall, I am pretty happy with this HBN 25ft Outdoor String Light set so far-Came with 25 small glass bulbs plus 1 extra (not two spares as advertised)-All bulbs and the cord seem well packaged as everything arrived intact and work fine so far-Bulbs seem fairly fragile and give off a soft warmish light-Cord seems fairly standard though thick enough for the purposeI have another set of similar waterproof outdoor string lights from another brand and here are the major differences I noticed:-The other brand has a much thicker and sturdier cord and seems very obviously waterproof. This one will probably hold up fine, but I definitely worry about it more in the weather-The other brand had much larger bulbs that are a shatterproof plastic. The bulbs also came preinstalled whereas these you have you screw in individually yourself-The other brand came with very sturdy black metal hooks that could be attached near each socket if desired to help with placement. These have attached plastic clip hooks by the sockets for placementOverall, this set works well so far, but is not as high quality and durable, in my opinion, as the other set I got off of Ebay. Some people may still prefer this set though as it doesn’t look as thick and bulky. This still looks nice and seems like a pretty good value as well. You can get additional strands as the company states they are connectable up to 6 strands. I’ll be sure to update my review if any issues arise with regular use.
