UPDATE-- 12/18/05- The unit already stopped working, cheaply made, wish I had ordered it, can't get my money back now. But the tech support is good, I'm sending it back, I just want my money instead of a replacement. I had trouble getting it to work. Hubby plugged and unplugged it from the back of the computer, then it finally worked and the computer recognized it. I had email customer support and they responded in a timely manner every time. (I downloaded a newer driver from their website before installing the EZmaker DVD system.) It's so slow - so it takes 2 hours to load movies in real time from the VCR. Then the software doesn't edit very well (not enough options and hard to understand) so I used Windows Movie Maker to edit but used the included software to burn it to DVD. And that is also a slow process. All in all it takes me about 4-5 hours for a 2 hour movie from VHS to DVD.
