later. I thought I'd try it out. You have to work hard, but things turn out better than planned. It helps if you have 2 people tighten the wire. It helps if you have a pneumatic crimping tool (which I don't have - you end up with hands like Louis Ferrigno!). Stair corner turners are very creative. Makes up for it! It is cheaper than composite railings/guard rails. And it's stainless steel, which means there's no paint finish. The old/tired deck looks amazing!
- Turnbuckles can be drilled into the wood to adjust tension without an additional turnbuckle or tensioner. The Deck and Stair Cable railing system is not only simple, it doesn't obstruct your view either. A hydraulic crimping tool is required to connect the cable to the screws.
