I have worn them almost every day for the last year and they are still very comfortable and amazing. I love that they never rub or smell on my heels (I wear socks) and provide great support. You're just starting to have a distinct squeak in your left heel when walking and I'm a big guy hard. Shoes, so it's great that they haven't fallen apart in 12 (almost) months of constant use. The only gripe I have is that I have a size 13 foot and wear a size 14 because they are easier to find. This usually means I have plenty of room for my toes in my shoes, not so with this 14th size. The toe box is so narrow that my toes hurt if I don't trim my toenails diligently. If you're a size 14 with long, skinny legs, you may need to go up a size or skip it altogether.
