Bought this to keep for my oiled walnut vanity table clean of make-up spills and powders, and it will serve this purpose. NOTHING attractive about it - just a cut piece of vinyl not even remotely leather-like. The word "leather" should not be used in the description as that is misleading. The "Red" color I bought is NOT Red - more like wine, cranberry, or maroon. It will serve a function but not at all attractive and quite pricey for a piece a cheap plastic. I'm keeping it because it's functional and the right size. I don't recommend it if you're looking for it to be attractive, anything remotely like leather, or to add some panache. It won't.
