I bought this lens to replace a disappointing Sony 16mm SEL16F28 lens for my Sony A6000. This lens has manual focus (you should focus manually for landscape shots anyway). The NEX and A7 cameras use tip focusing, so manual focusing is easy and accurate. Wide-angle lenses are prone to chromatic aberration (CA) because they refract incoming light at such a sharp angle. I tried calling HA with this lens. I took test shots of a scene with a white napkin on a dark table, white appliances, and a bright dining room lamp. Wide open (f/2!) if you look at the Pixel, there's just a hint of HA. Stopped at f/11, it goes through. I took it outside and took some hyperfocal shots. The tuft of grass at my feet was sharp, the tree in the distance was sharp, and everything in between. Conclusion: This is a good sharp lens with very good color correction. It's *amazing* at this price point. Wow.
