
Extremely easy to use, easy to clean product. What I really like is that it doesn't need electricity to run it. Simply freeze the container overnight and twist the knob a few times every few minutes. Their ice cream tastes great even when it's still soft and served in a glass. I believe ice cream should be frozen overnight or within 4-5 hours of coming out of Donvie. At this point, the ice becomes rock hard after freezing. Not sure what it is (regardless of the custard or other ice cream base I used) but it was so hard I had to cut it into chunks with a knife. Unlike store bought ice cream where you can still scoop it even when frozen. I probably won't keep my Donvier because I don't eat ice cream regularly and the firmness of the resulting ice cream isn't appealing. me. But if you have a big family and eat ice cream regularly right after making it, this is definitely a fun and easy product for you and your kids.
